I can remember as a kid in the early 1970s questioning my father about the long gas lines snaking around the gas stations, and the concept of when you could fill up depending on your license plate numbers being either odd or even. My father tried his best to explain it to me, but he simply said son there is a gas shortage period the end. It was then that the first seed was planted in my mind.  I thought to myself what would happen

if there was no gas left, would the world stop running. How would we get around?

This drew my curiosity and interest in the future! I questioned what would we use to fuel our vehicles; I didn't have the answer back in the early 70s, but one thing I knew for sure a change would have to take place. We needed to find an alternative fuel. Later as a teenager in the 1980s I had a great interest in not only what the cars of tomorrow would look like, but what kind of fuel they would run on. I would attend the annual car show every year, and my focus was on the concept cars the future of the automotive technology. Then came the 1990s and my curiosity and interest grew even stronger, I said to myself someday gas will not be around and what would we use as an alternative fuel.

While on a visit to California the late 90’s, I was driving in my rent-a-car and there in front of me stood the answer Natural Gas. A natural gas bus was driving in front of me and I could see the words “This bus runs on compressed natural gas.” After research I decided this was indeed the future, the problem was it was 1999 and gas was $1.25 a gallon and the gas guzzling SUV lovers of the world were on our roadways in full force.

I tried to tell anyone who would listen about these incredible vehicles explaining their environmental value to us as a society. Nobody would listen they laughed and simply said never happen, not in our lifetime. Well it is 2008 and the future is here!

Gas is now $4.50 a gallon and the talk is all about alternative energy. Not to mention the Honda Civic NGV was just voted for the second year in a row the greenest vehicle on earth. I am not one to say I told you so, instead I decided simply to educate the world about these vehicles.

I set out to build the website NATURALGASVEHICLES.COM the information highway for the next generation of vehicles. I needed help and enlisted my old business partner Nick Mondello. What I love about Nick is when I tell him I have a business idea and plan he never says how are you going to do it, he simply says let’s do it, let’s do it big and let’s be the best. It's this amazing spirit and attitude about Nick that I love most.

When Nick came aboard I knew I had a partner that shared in my vision for the future. The next thing was to create the single most comprehensive site on the internet that dealt with alternative fuel vehicles, in particular natural gas vehicles. A team of dedicated professionals at register.com was hired and together we bring you Naturalgasvehicles.com the information highway for the next generation of vehicles. Here you will find the latest

news, information and technology concerning these exciting vehicles.

Thank you for your interest, and look forward to providing you with the latest information for many years to come.
